Series: Nero Wolfe

This note was last modified Sunday, 11-Dec-2022 18:12:32 PST.

The actual Nero Wolfe series. The continuation books (by Robert Godsborough) are listed separately.

One of the really iconic mystery series. Nero Wolfe sits and thinks, inspired perhaps by Mycroft Holmes. He also eats gourmet meals, and breeds orchids. Archie Goodwin, the first-person narrator, works for Wolfe. His job is anything involving leaving the house, anything involving young women, and annoying Wolfe into actually working when necessary.
